Kyuria ("we," "us," "our") operates the kyuria.com website and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. Coaches may also provide an organization name.
Assessment responses. When you complete a personality assessment through Kyuria, we collect your responses to the assessment questions and any communication preferences you provide.
Derived data. We compute personality scores and generate communication guides from your assessment responses. These are derived from your data but are generated by our system.
Usage data. We collect standard server logs and analytics data including pages visited, time spent, browser type, and device information. We use PostHog for product analytics.
Payment information. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details on our servers. We store Stripe customer and transaction reference IDs.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not use your assessment data or communication guides for advertising.
Participants own their data. Your assessment responses, personality profile, and the right to reuse, retake, or delete your assessment belong to you. Removing you from a room does not delete your profile or assessment history.
Coaches own their work. Coaches own their edits, annotations, and room configurations. The communication guides in a room are the coach's deliverable.
Organization data. Rooms, billing, and team configurations belong to the organization that created them.
We share data only in the following circumstances:
Cross-coach privacy. If you participate in multiple rooms with different coaches, each coach can only see your data within their own room. A coach in one room cannot see that you have a profile from another room.
We protect your data with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS). Access to production data is restricted and logged. We use managed database hosting with automated backups and point-in-time recovery.
We retain your account and assessment data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Room data is retained for the active window of the room plus a reasonable archival period. You may request deletion at any time.
You have the right to:
Right to erasure (GDPR). Upon request, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days. This includes hard deletion of assessment responses and results, anonymization of your user record, and tombstoning of room memberships and associated guides. Deletion requests are logged for audit purposes.
We use essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We use PostHog for product analytics, which may set cookies to understand how the service is used. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels from ad networks.
Kyuria is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
Our services are hosted in the United States. If you access Kyuria from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. We take appropriate safeguards to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
